Mighty Smuggs

Okay so I’m not the first person to have reviewed these guys, but hey, it doesn’t make them any less fantastic!

Mighty Muggs are from Hasbro and come in: Star Wars, Marvel, GI Joe and Indiana Jones.

As you’d probably gues, being a Marvel “Freak” I opt for my superhero mates..oh and GI Joe is part of the Marvel family so shuddup! Otherwise I’ll get my team of Muggs onto ya!

Sick? Me? No!

WoW is taking a slightly ‘crafty’ approach this week, with a project made entirely of felt and this cotton twiny-stuff. I’m so excited, that I wanted to give you a sneaky peak.

Have you guys ever been to a craft superstore? ….evil!

Felt up!

Did I say “Masters” @ Work? Maybe I’m not a master, but I was getting pretty much into my little ‘crafty’ session up in the beautiful Killcare where I spent the weekend with my equally as beautiful friends.

A new direction in art? Maybe, well you know that crochet is the new black…didn’t you? I not making it up y’know!

Art-cade!

As you all know by now, at ‘WoW’ we love our vinyl toys (aha, a poet without know’n it!).

Hint! Helloooooo!?!

Major Moulty’s Amazing Magical Plastic Band

You can’t turn a corner without bumping into a cluster of vinyl toys. Bookshops are selling them, comic book shops are selling them (they’ve even immortalised superheroes and villains as vinyl toys), they also sell the more obscure ones in galleries (thank you Outré, Sydney). My God! They even sell them in Selfridges!

But despite the massive exposure they get, you can never grow tired of seeing them. And how could you? They’re cute, fun, and they look great on any available surface space you can find….and if not, clear one!

They can become quite a collector’s item. Just like our friends at WoW HQ, the lovable ‘Major Moulty’s Amazing Magical Plastic Band’. Try saying that 5 times, walking backwards in circles whilst wearing a tutu and strumming a banjo…Oops! Word just got out!
