Dear Gemma Jones (that’s right, I’m gonna say it), thank you.

Gem, is a beautiful Ska/Craft/Pop Culture queen who prompted me to get my hands on this sacred crochet bible. I got it Gem…!

So now’s the time to “keep crafting”, and let me promise you, with Debbie Stoller as my witness…I will be doing just that!

Hanuman and friends (and enemies)

You know at WoW, we love our comic books, and when I was handed a pile of comics that portray the ageless Indian heritage…well let me tell you, I was WELL excited!

I devoured the books that were first published in 1971 by India Book House Limited, and some of those concepts, I gotta tell ya are pretty out there, but I’m certainly a fan. The endings can be pretty abrupt though…but then again, who wants an epilogue?

A bit of inspiration swimming around to say the least… an bit of Taffy action…

The final installment

The little green men that we’re used to on ‘WoW’, you might think are cute and “cuddleable”, and..well.. maybe a little stupid!

But the little green men that I draw our attention to right now, are not so cute, and would probably sooner eat your spleen, that cuddle you back, and they certainly aren’t stupid!

They are the ‘Skrulls’, they have been terrorizing (and also on occasion been allies) our heroes in the Marvel universe for 46 years.

The Secret Invasion,  was executed in 2008, but the evidence of the plot may lead back to the alien race’s first encounter with the Fantastic Four in 1962. And what with their endless army of ‘Super Skrulls’, who can stop them…Aw c’mon… you’re kidding, right?

I wanted to share this with you all, before I read the finale myself. Now that, for me is willpower…I think I’m going to cry….

When there is something you’ve been thinking about, or dreaming of doing. Something that gives you a little excited feeling, then you should bloody well get on and do it!

Always pursue what gets your heart tingling, even if that thing you do is only for yourself. Even better if you can share that thing with your friends…or the ‘World of Wes”

‘That’s My Carrot’, is something that I’d been working on eons ago (yes, I’m that old), and it’s only very recently, that I decided to let it come to fruition. There are some really exciting prospects for our little friends in the story, and believe you me…You’ll be the first to see…

The Calm Before...

There’s only one thing that can be more morbid than the dead rising to try and overrun humanity.

“What can that be?”, I hear you say. The answer to that is as easy as 123: The end of ‘The Walking Dead’ graphic novels…until they publish the new ones that is.

I can see the queues around the blocks already! At least there should be… First dibs on issue 9: Here We Remain… I wish!
