Further to my admittedly freakish post on the teeny beauty pageant kiddies, or rather the “children of the corn”, I became a little obsessed.

So I decided to bring them to life in the form of art.

Who said that Cac-Ti was a man? He’s your everyday little Jamie-Lee Curtis! Just as well really, because otherwise he’d look bloody awful in a dr-….monkey outfit!

Here is our lovable little Cactius Erectus (I just made that up), in one of his usual pissed-off pauses, fulfilling his pushy mother’s dream of beauty pageant stardom…

…Or in this case, ‘Children of Texan Beauty Pageants”. Even more scary and bizarre are the parents of these, erm…k-k-kids!

Now, I never promised to bring you useful posts all the time, and sometimes I do like to harp on about absolute shite. But that’s why we’re here, and quite frankly, I’m having a ball! Beside, when I watched a snippet of ‘Living Dolls’ on youtube (it’s a long one, but 2:15 is priceless!), I quite literally almost pissed myself!

Looking forward to ‘Miss Twee Chelsea’ in the Royal Albert Hall next spring…Hah! Gotcha!
