Oh Chr-….you know the drill!

Christmas tree...

Christmas tree...

…looks pathetic, dunnit?

Well we might have had a pathetic Christmas tree, but it housed all our wonderful presents, well..wonderfully.

Yes it did, and you might like to know how such a teeny tree could accomodate all our presents..? ….answer is, we didn’t have a mass of presents at all, but they were all fantastic none-the-less.

And we weren’t able to sing around the tree (as mentioned in an earlier post), partly due to the fact that none of us could sing. But also due to the fact that to move the tree, it would lose all of it’s pines…

With some of our nearest and dearest present in London…it was all the “presents” we could wish for.

Thank you Dan, “Bert” and Charb xx

Feels like Christmas

Feels like Christmas

It’s been a lot of years since I really felt the “spirit of Christmas”, but on the weekend at Borough Markets, that spirit was running riot..

With Christmas Carol-ers singing something that I couldn’t quite make out, and dead ducks and pheasants hanging by their little broken necks (of which I was going to submit a photo)…Yes, you can sure tell it’s “Crimbo” in London.

There sure isn’t a shortage of food either, from beefburgers through to venison and ostrich burgers. The best cakes I’ve ever eaten (or one of them), and the most expensive Christmas Puddings under the sun…Sorry Dan & Roberta, It’s Chocolate cake for you!

I have to say that it’s wonderful to be back in ‘Old Blighty’ at such a festive time, so I have a message to you all, “Shuddup! Get f*%k£d! Im grumpy!”

…with all love, of course!

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree..!

WoW's first Crissy tree!

WoW

When the stress levels rise, and you feel like you need a nip of brandy on your corn-flakes in the morning, you know that Christmas is looming.

The panic-stricken last minute shoppers who seem to have forgotten the correct use of there feet, and think it’s just dandy to stop dead in front of you to admire the shiny lights above Oxford Circus…You know who you are…!

Aside all the stresses that accompany our Coca-Cola endorsed festive season, like, who to see on the day, when to make time to buy presents.. blah blah-de blah! It IS a time for family, friends, food, drink and TREEEEEEEES! Our faithful pine-cladded friend at WoW HQ looks like a pathetic attempt at festive spirit at just £12, but I promise you, he’ll looking so good you’ll be wanting to sing around him…watch the needles though, they give you a rash…
