Ah, isn't she beautful?
Further to my admittedly freakish post on the teeny beauty pageant kiddies, or rather the “children of the corn”, I became a little obsessed.
So I decided to bring them to life in the form of art.
Who said that Cac-Ti was a man? He’s your everyday little Jamie-Lee Curtis! Just as well really, because otherwise he’d look bloody awful in a dr-….monkey outfit!
Here is our lovable little Cactius Erectus (I just made that up), in one of his usual pissed-off pauses, fulfilling his pushy mother’s dream of beauty pageant stardom…

The seductive song you hear, isn’t from the fables of yore about the accounts of sailors being lured by beautiful fish-women, sitting on rocks out at sea, playing harps, ready to tear the living flesh from their bones.
No, it’s the equally seductive “swashbuckling” inspired paintings from a dutch artist/tattoo artist named, Angelîque Houtkamp. Her paintings of enchanting girls, always in rather suggestive poses are featured in small, limited edition giclee prints, and on coffee-stained paper… a rather interesting touch, I might say. Quaff! Quaff!
